Chemistry Shipping and Receiving is the central receiving point for ALL shipments
to the Department of Chemistry. The shipping and receiving coordinator is responsible
for all shipping, receiving and handling of packages for the department, including
gas cylinders, liquid nitrogen, and dry ice.
Shipping
Packages are shipped from the department via the department's Federal Express account. Packages shipped by carriers other than Federal Express will require a credit card or they will need to be shipped COD. All outbound packages from the Department MUST be approved by the Shipping and receiving Coordinator. Packages should be brought to 133 Choppin Hall before noon on the day you need the item shipped.
Department, personal, or prepaid packages must be boxed, sealed, and ready to be shipped. We will print a shipping label for you.
Cylinder Request Form
Cylinders should be ordered through workday. All cylinders are delivered to Choppin
Hall and can be picked up and returned during S&R business hours.
Liquid Nitrogen & Dry Ice
Customers are NOT allowed to fill from the large liquid nitrogen tanks unless trained and approved. See shipping and receiving coordinator.
