As a UREC student employee, you are eligible for professional development opportunities.
This funding is available for student employees interested in attending conferences/tournaments, obtaining certifications, or other avenues your supervisor deems appropriate. Funding is not guaranteed.

Criteria
- Student must be actively employed with UREC for a minimum of one semester prior to submitting application
- Must be in good standing with the university and department
- Student is only eligible to receive funding once annually
Application Process
- Speak with your supervisor regarding application
- Download and complete the application
- Save and send to TrainUREC@lsu.edu
- Applications may take up to two weeks to review
- Decision will be sent to student from Assistant Director of Training and Development
