LSU Standard Paint Colors 

The main purpose in creating a standard paint color scheme for LSU is twofold. First, the introduction of updated industry colors is desired, second, selection assistance to the individual of departments is needed.

This standard was recreated for widespread use by all departments, offices, and divisions on the LSU Baton Rouge Campus. Specifically, the use of this guide applies for any renovations, re-designs, and maintenance projects.

Instructions for Use

It is recommended that separate schemes should not be mixed. Only one Scheme, one Wall Color, and one Trim Color is to be selected from the options.

The steps for selecting paint (click on PDF in each scheme to see color samples):

  1. Choose on Paint Scheme (ex: Scheme 1)
  2. Select one Wall Paint Color (ex: SW 7042 Shoji White)
  3. Select one Trim Color (ex: SW 7046 Anonymous)
