Faculty from the LSU Early Childhood Education Institute (ECEI) recently engaged in international collaboration through a visit to an innovative early childhood program in Bologna, Italy.
Cynthia DiCarlo, PhD, and Gene Geist, PhD, from the LSU Early Childhood Education Institute recently delivered an invited presentation at the University of Florence titled Advancing Early Childhood Innovation: ECEI’s Mission, FoodMASTER, and Expanding Nutrition Education to Young Learners.
Cynthia DiCarlo, PhD, and Eugene Geist, PhD, from the LSU Early Childhood Education Institute recently engaged in international collaboration through presentations in Berlin, Germany, and Florence, Italy.
Park served as a Board Director of AHRD from February 2023 to February 2026. Prior to her board service, she contributed extensively to AHRD as Conference Program Chair, Proceedings Editor, Assistant Proceedings Editor, and Track Chair. She currently serves as Chair of the Early Career Award Committee and serves on both the Book Award and Dissertation Award Committees.
LSU College of Human Sciences & Education and LSU Integrative Community Studies will celebrate Inclusive Postsecondary Education Day on May 1, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Huey P. Long Field House Ballroom.
The LSU College of Human Sciences & Education has named Edward Benoit, III, PhD director of the School of Information Studies (SIS). Benoit most recently served as interim director of the school since December 2024.
LSU Kinesiology Professor Senlin Chen, PhD, and his team are developing a novel obesity prevention program to use in Louisiana schools, combining such tactics as virtual pets and coaches with the best science to encourage healthy behaviors.
