Sam Staggs
Deputy Chief Justice, Student Government
Coming into college, I never intended to be involved in Student Government. After joining College Council during my Sophomore year, I fell in love with the people I met and the work I could do. While in Senate, I loved being able to show others that even as students we can make a difference; I have been able to create relations with many administrators and work with them to implement changes on campus.
Now transitioning into the Judicial Branch, I want to be a resource and support for others so they can continue to make LSU better. My overall hope is to make LSU and Student Government a place for everyone to grow and learn even if it seems like a whole new world at first.

Favorite campus spot
I am partial to the Enchanted Forest; it's always peaceful and a close walk from the Music & Dramatic Arts building.
