First Summer 2024 (Session B)

October 22	Sunday	Advance course scheduling begins at 5:00 p.m. Please see Scheduling Priority Calendar to determine scheduling date and time.
April 22	Monday	myLSU is closed at 7:00 p.m.
May 3	Friday	myLSU is open to all students at 7:00 a.m. On-line fee bills are available via myLSU. Billed students may drop and add courses via myLSU but must contact the appropriate office(s) to change additional services.
May 17	Friday	Payment deadline – mailed payments must be received (not post-marked) by this date. Payment via myLSU using an online check/bank draft or a credit card must be completed by 4:30 p.m.
May 23	Thursday	myLSU is closed at 4:30 p.m. for system work/no pay purge
May 24	Friday	Final date to receive a 100% refund of University Fees. Last day for students who receive letter in lieu of bill to pay fees.
May 27	Monday	myLSU is open to all students at 7:00 a.m.
May 28	Tuesday	Classes begin.
May 29	Wednesday	This marks the last day students will be moved from waitlists and into courses.
May 30	Thursday	This marks the last day for dropping courses without receiving a grade of “W”, deadline 4:30 p.m. This marks the last day to receive a 90% refund of University fees.
May 31	Friday	This marks the last day to add courses or make section changes, deadline 4:30 p.m. This marks the last day to invoke the Grade Exclusion Policy, deadline 4:30 p.m. This marks the last day for changes from regular to pass/fail grading. This marks the last day to change from credit to audit. myLSU is closed to all students at 4:30 p.m. for system work/no pay purge.
June 4	Tuesday	myLSU is open at 12:00 noon
June 5	Wednesday	This marks the last day to receive a 50% refund of University fees.
June 13	Thursday	Mid-semester grades due, 9:00 a.m.
June 19	Wednesday	Juneteenth Holiday
June 20	Thursday	This marks the last day to drop courses or resign from the University for Session B, deadline 4:30 p.m.
June 29 & July 1	Saturday & Monday	Final classes and final examinations held
July 2	Tuesday	Final grades due, 9:00 a.m. deadline
August 2	Friday	This marks the last day to receive refund of diploma fee, deadline 4:30 p.m.

There are select courses that run for the entire summer term. For these sections, the last day to add, the last day to drop without receiving a “W”, and the refund deadlines correspond with the dates for Session B. The final day to drop or resign from the University will align with Session C.
