Spring 2025 Calendar

October 20	Sunday	Advance course scheduling begins at 5:00 p.m. Please see Scheduling Priority Calendar to determine scheduling date and time.
November 9	Saturday	Students’ credit hour maxima are reset to 19 hours unless a student is on probation or their dean’s office has manually reset the credit hour maximum. myLSU is closed at 7:00 p.m.
November 10	Sunday	myLSU is open to all students at 5:00 p.m.
November 12	Tuesday	myLSU is closed at 7:00 p.m.
November 25	Monday	myLSU is open to all students at 7:00 a.m. On-line fee bills are available via myLSU. Billed students may drop and add courses via myLSU but must contact the appropriate office(s) to change additional services.
December 16	Monday	Payment deadline – mailed payments must be received (not post-marked) by this date. Payment via myLSU using an online check/bank draft or a credit card must be completed by 4:30 p.m.
January 3	Friday	myLSU is closed at 4:30 p.m.
January 6	Monday	myLSU is open to all students at 7:00 a.m.
January 10	Friday	Final date to receive a 100% refund of University Fees. Last day for students who receive letter in lieu of bill to pay fees. myLSU is closed to all students at 4:30 p.m. for system work/no pay purge.
January 13	Monday	Classes begin, 7:30 a.m. myLSU is open to all students at 7:00 a.m.
January 20	Monday	Martin Luther King Day Holiday
January 21	Tuesday	This marks the last day to receive a 90% refund of University fees. This marks the last day students will be moved from waitlists and into courses.
January 22	Wednesday	This marks the last day for dropping courses without receiving a grade of “W”, deadline 4:30 p.m.
January 23	Thursday	This marks the last day to add courses or make section changes, deadline 4:30 p.m. This marks the last day to invoke the Grade Exclusion Policy, deadline 4:30 p.m. This marks the last day for changes from regular to pass/fail grading. This marks the last day to transfer from UCFY to a senior college or from one senior college to another. This marks the last day to change from credit to audit. myLSU is closed to all students at 4:30 p.m. for system work.
January 24	Friday	myLSU is open to all students at 10:00 a.m.
January 31	Friday	This marks the last day to receive a 50% refund of University fees. myLSU is closed to all students at 4:30 p.m. for system work/no pay purge.
February 5	Wednesday	myLSU is open to all students at 12 noon.
March 3	Monday	Mardi Gras Holiday Begins
March 5	Wednesday	Classes Resume, 12:30 p.m.
March 7	Friday	Mid-semester grades due, 9:00 a.m.
TBD	Sunday	Course scheduling for fall semester and Wintersession begins, 5:00 p.m.
March 28	Friday	This marks the last day to drop courses or resign from the University, deadline 4:30 p.m. This is the final date for students to resolve final exam schedule problems.
March 31 - April 4	Monday - Friday	Spring Break
April 18	Friday	Good Friday Holiday
April 30	Wednesday	Concentrated Study Period begins – Graded coursework (including but not limited to tests, exams, quizzes) is not permitted during concentrated study period. Exceptions to this policy include: laboratory courses; graduate and professional courses; presentations, papers and projects identified on the syllabus on the first day of class; and participation. During this time, no extracurricular student activities, such as social and athletic events, will be held on or off campus.
May 2	Friday	This marks the last day to receive refund of diploma fee, deadline 4:30 p.m.
May 3	Saturday	Classes End, 10:00p.m.
May 4	Sunday	Concentrated Study Period ends.
May 5	Monday	Final examinations begin.
May 10	Saturday	Final examinations end.
May 13	Tuesday	Final grades due (degree candidate), 9:00 a.m. deadline
