My passion for student affairs is based on my value for education. I am a true believer that once you get that degree, no one can take that away from you. A degree opens up opportunities and helps to achieve your professional goals.
"It is really hard to be bored when you are living on campus. I would go to Super Bowl watch parties in the Campus Center and we would celebrate our mascot's birthday each year, which was a fun event. Some of the best memories I have were hanging out with my friends at the football games and doing homework together in the dorm. It definitely helped me build relationships that I still have today and helped me feel connected to campus." -Taylor
My favorite spot on campus
CC's Coffee in the Student Union because an iced caramel latte is always needed to get a headstart on the day!
Advice for first-year students
"Follow the beat of your own drum." There are going to be so many people telling you what to do with your college experience. Make it your own because these next 4-5 years are all about finding out who you are as a person and who you want to be for the future.
The best piece of advice I've ever given is
"Be the change you wish to see in the world"
