I have always been passionate about working with students and being a trusted, supportive adult for them as they navigate their college and early life experiences.

Mike's Habitat of course! It's nice to take a break and go see him sleeping, walking around, or playing in his little pool.

A piece of advice

If you're deciding to stay in a job, major, anything for the sake of other people and not for yourself, then you're not in the right place. It's perfectly fine to want to help others but you also have to take care of you!

Advice for first-year students

Getting out of your comfort zone is the best way to grow and discover who you are. Also, you will find people that make you feel welcomed as you are and you won't need to change yourself to fit in anywhere. Keep meeting people until you find a community like that!
