Why LSU?
Located in Baton Rouge Louisiana, LSU sits at the crossroads of a vibrant living-learning laboratory of culture and geography. LSU offers nationally-ranked degree programs and unique research opportunities. Whether it’s working on a team of faculty and students across disciplines to help rehabilitate stroke patients through adaptive guitar technology, or exploring how botanical compounds can be used to develop medication for diabetes, every student can participate in research that enriches Louisiana and the world.
The academics at LSU are top of the line, and having the opportunity to do research is important. In a competitive world, we have to do what we can to stay in the competition, and LSU allows me to do that.
