Career development has the ability to not only change the future for the individual
student but potentially the future of their entire family. Having the opportunity
to assist students in discovering and achieving their definition of success is something
that I do not take lightly, especially as someone from Louisiana. As an alumnus of
LSU, I consider it a privilege and responsibility to do what I can to
ensure our students are successful once they graduate.

Let's get cooking
I collect cookbooks of all kinds, but especially vintage Louisiana community cookbooks.
I have about 150 in total with my most prized one being my grandmother’s worn copy
of Talk About Good from
the mid-60s.
Sounds of the city
Baton Rouge has a ton of free music festivals – Live After 5, the Blues Festival, even the Farmers Market has live music. Those events bring the community together in really unique ways.
Words to live by
“You get to consciously decide what has meaning and what doesn’t.” – This is Water by David Foster Wallace
