Textile Museum

Mrs. Vinci has retired from her role as curator for our museum collection. She remains active with the museum as a volunteer. The museum was recently renovated and is housed in the 100 Suite of the Human Ecology Building.

2018: Louisiana Board of Regents Traditional Enhancement Support Fund:  Exhibition Gallery Enhancement for the Textile Arts.  Principal Investigator with Jenna T. Kuttruff and Casey Stannard.  $110,000.

2011: Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities:  Dressed for Eternity: Mid-Nineteenth Century Burial Dress in Louisiana.  Funding for an exhibition in the LSU Textile & Costume Museum.  With Jenna T. Kuttruff.  $2500.

2005: Louisiana Board of Regents Traditional Enhancement Support Fund:  Archival Storage and On-Line Collection Access for Instruction and Public Outreach at the LSU Textile and Costume Museum.  With Jenna T. Kuttruff.  $53,311.

2005: Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities: Converting Commodity Bags:  Recycling Circa 1940.  Funding for an exhibition in the LSU Textile & Costume Museum.  $2500.
